Why can‘t PoE switches be loaded?

Almost every person who used the Poe switch has been told this 

sentence: as far as possible not to load, reserved for one or two ports. This means that each port can not 

be connected to a camera, you need to idle 1 ports, so more stable.

There is some truth in this sentence, 

but it is not entirely true.

1, PoE switch power supply standards currently have AF and at, where the AF 

standard is the power of each port to provide 15.4W, at standard to provide 30W power per port, which 

is the maximum port power of not more than 30W. If the camera‘s power is 25W, a 8 PoE switch, if all 

received full, may lead to power shortage, because out of loss, and no 30W port power supply, so the 

need to idle a best port.

2, but for small power camera, is fully loaded, such as a support for the at 

standard PoE switch, if the camera‘s power is only 8W, you can load power supply, because the port 

power is far greater than the power equipment. At present, all of Hong Ruiguangxiang‘s PoE switches 

are also supporting AF and at standards, in the power supply will automatically detect the power of the 

equipment, and provide the appropriate power supply, can fully meet the full load AF.

3, read the above 

estimates, everybody knows: PoE switch is power, and power equipment power is very small, can be full 

of power; if the PoE switch only supports the AF standard, regardless of how much power electrical 

equipment, power supply load is not recommended.
